As part of a fight against food waste this beer is brewed with unsold bread. The bread is toasted and added during the brewing process. This gives the beer a sweeter profile than you would normally have from a pale ale. The beer pours a clear amber with only a little head. There is a lovely fresh caramel sweet and bready aroma as you pour it. This is echoed in the taste but has a gentle bitter finish to balance things out.
